Early Bird Tweet
Goodness, I haven't been on here in a while. I broke my kinda promise. Aargh! Lately, a lot has been happening in my life. Everything from having a stalker to superbly bad news, but as always I try to focus on the positive and build my relationship with God. I'm just so confused lately I mean I try to make sense of things and when I do then comes another complex question that confuses me all over again. I'm not quite sure if that was even comprehensible. Apparently my mind is a very complex place. On the bright side, *Note to reader* "There's always a bright side to every down in life believe me", I've started praying again and wow do you feel loads coming off your shoulders as you bow down to God. I've also finished Summer school, but Fall semester starts next week already. Woah, does time fly by. I've become addicted to Polyvore, not sure if that's a good thing or not, and I love it! Check out some outfits I've done on Twitter. Hmm.. Oh yes! I have picked up a healthy eating regimen and I've been sticking to it as well as exercising everyday! They say you are what you eat and in this case I don't want to be unhealthy anymore. I'm not sure if I've lost weight or anything because you don't see results until a month and your friends won't see the change until 2 months and everyone else won't see it until the 3rd month! So, hopefully results in 20 something days. Yeeppp I'm excited :)! I feel like this is a long post as is I shall stop babbling my nonsense and disjointed sentences at this moment! I hope I didn't bore you all to much?! Anyhow, I hope you all have a beautiful day filled with love! Ciao, lovely people sending virtual hugs to all of you X....

Golden Girl
What's a good blog to follow on Tumblr? Mine of course! Seriously though any good ones? Share below :). My Tumblr is ME. Anything I like, laugh at, cry at, etc. I blog. I also like to write a caption for many of the images. I'm very expressive. Feel free to follow this Golden Girl :). Yes, I love the show! I love a lot of oldies don't watch much TV anymore though and I haven't read anything in a while either. I need to prioritize my time better....any suggestions? I must find something, an app quite possibly, that I can use to schedule my time wisely. The app must not take too much space for my sd card is almost filled somehow... I take too many pictures and download too many "Health" apps. Aarggh, must buy a bigger memory stick. As I was saying, before I wandered off into the realms of my smart phone, Follow me on Tumblr :D! Im-possible Heights
I never know what to write when I have free time?! This month has been a whirlwind of obstacles and emotions. I somehow made it through (all thanks to god), and now I'm writing my persuasive essay for class. Well, actually taking a break to write this then going back to write the speech. I finally, for the first time ever, went to Six Flags! It was amazing and it helped that a good friend of mine coincidentally was going on the exact same date. As I got to the front door I felt so weird not knowing where to go or what to do...I first went on the Superman, then Batman, Vertical Velocity, The Giant Drop, and the rest are all blurry, but I went on pretty much all the rides. The raging bull terrified me, I felt like I was going to fall off. I recall my friends sister stating as we were looking at the pictures after each ride..."You didn't even scream or cry" In the pictures I looked petrified: haha, I wish I bought them now. My head was back and my expression priceless in each one: really funny! It was definitely a memorable first time at Six Flags. I'd get more into detail, but I must get back to my essay. The X-Flight was one of my favorite rides...it was too short though. The best part was that I'm terrified of heights. I somehow had the courage to go on one after the other. I can't wait to go again...I can already smell the Funnel Cake. Just goes to show you: You can do anything if you set your mind to it. Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!' -Audrey Hepburn. What's your favorite ride at Six Flags? What was your first time on the roller-coasters like? Until Next Time Darlings Ox...

Light Bulb Off. Clap On
Today in class I gave my How to Make Cake Pops demonstration speech and wow, did I forget a lot. Felt like crap up there (my nerves got the best of me), but on the bright side I guess it's good that people don't see or feel exactly how you do up there. I somehow managed (by believing in myself) to still get an A. I took pictures and I really wanted to do an entry on how I made the cake pops, but when I go to look at my camera none of the *good* pictures (only the blurry ones) I took were on there...and boy did I take plenty of good ones. I wonder why they didn't save?! "Shoulder Shrug" Better luck next time I guess. We had a thunderstorm today and although it was raining the temperature was still in the 100's. Crazy. It was stunning out thank god for the beautiful weather. Which brings me to why I wrote this: to update all of you on my day as well as to remind myself and you to breathe for things aren't always as bad as they seem. Life has so much to offer: always stay positive. Above all be confident in yourself <3. X...

Mini Haul, Chit-Chatting, & Inside...
Right now, I really feel like Blogging. Although, it seems that the only consistent thing I do lately is reflect upon who I really am...
Things I'm doing as I'm writing this: straightening my hair, texting a friend I haven't talked to in a while (due to my fear of getting too close to anyone anymore). Thinking about my job interview (how nervous I am and how I really need this job). Any job tips? What to do for my demonstration speech for class (outside the box and interesting O_o?). Yeah, always racing with a thousand things and what's in the parenthesis is really what's going on inside my mind. Guess what? I just finished my hair. Yayy! :) This week has been a really good week super thankful to God for that. I went and had a mini shopping haul.
I can't find everything I bought (or recall for that matter), but here's what I could find :D
ST. Ives Oatmeal & Shea Body Scrub (Dollar Tree: $1.00)
I love ST. Ives products and this smells really sweet.
The Scrub as it says on the back label is "formulated without parabens & phtalates, hypo-allergenic, and not tested on animals"
I also went and got a super cute orange thong (PINK: $9.50), and I got it for free. They had a special where if you get bra-fitted you get a free pair of panties of your choosing. If you went to the semi-annual sale, what did you ended up buying?
Also, I bought a pair of short floral navy wedges (I don't own any so I didn't really care for heel height, I just thought they were cute) size 6 (Thrift Store: $5.00).
The blush is NYC cheek glow in 654 "Outside Café" (Dollar Tree: $1.00).
I haven't used it enough to do a review on how the product worked for me, but once I
do I'll happily share :).
The last item I found that I had purchased is this board which includes a wire to hang it with. (Thrift Store: $1.99).
I don't know what compelled me to buy it, but I did. I like the board for the fact that I know I'm imperfect and I'm content with that. It helps me realize that imperfections are everywhere and that perfection is always trying to be reached, but why change yourself when you're you. As I grow everyday I find peace in who I am. Lately, I found that the first step in loving others is loving yourself; however, to love yourself you need to forgive and grow from the mistakes you make by acknowledging what went wrong and learning how not to let it happen again. They say feelings follow actions I agree: I've tried this method this week where when I'm mad I put a smile on my face and you know what it turns out I'm not so mad anymore. God, I love quotes I want to put quotes all over my room. Problem is knowing me that's probably not the best idea (my room will be filled to the point where I probably won't even be able to read the quote haha)
Oh, goodness this is long. Hopefully, I didn't bore you too much. That's about all I could find from what I bought this week. Pretty good mini haul; got some good things. Tell me how your week has been? I'd love to here about it! Any suggestions on things you'd want me to incorporate?
Stay updated by following me on Instagram for pictures, Twitter for my thoughts as well as hopes of befriending someone famous (I know, I know: Can't a girl wish), and this blog for a more in-depth on my week, makeup, outfits, shopping, and more: all under the same username. Also, make sure to like my Facebook page :). Hope you all have a super lovely week. Remember you're never fully dressed without a smile (-Annie)! Ciao, OXOX.

When all is going wrong...Dance!
Hey Ya'll :D (I'm just a chatting away today) {I sound so country hehe :)}
You know what's annoying? When your life get's completely pulled out from under you and you feel the only option you have to cherry-pick from is that which you don't want to make! We've all been there! I don't feel it is fair that sometimes we have no choice in where life takes us... Therefore, for all those that are in a bad "kick something kind of mood":..
![]() |
| Like I am at the moment. {"The camera don't lie. You're coming back down and you really don't mind, you had a bad day" -Daniel Powter} |
... try to make the best of the day! Don't cry: "Life is a dance floor. You get what you're given...it's all how you use it"-PINK. Focus on making the best of what you have and chase after your dreams...there's only one life to live don't waste it wishing on the stars rather I hope you choose to dance {read below for explanation}! I know sometimes we don't think we have any opportunities, but if you look closely you'll notice a lot of doors are open. We are just too "busy" to notice them. I want to leave you off with these beautiful words that I hope you take to heart <3
Lee Ann Womack
"I Hope You Dance"
"I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance!"
Get Up & Carpe Diem My Lovelies!

New, New, New...Who Knew?
Hey Dolls, I hope you're all enjoying the New Year... So, what's new with you all??? I'm gonna start by mentioning that I'm probably the worst blogger ever... SORRY! I know I haven't blogged in what feels like centuries :(, but I promise to change that soon; as soon as I find my camera cord that is hahaha! I hope you've all had a great Christmas/Holiday Season/Break/ and New Year :D! I hope this year turns out great for everybody!!! I also honestly hope you all accomplish you're New Year Resolutions whatever they may be; Good Luck! I've already made some changes and I'm pretty excited... Hopefully the rest of the year is as good.
To start off I finally "FINALLY" (Hallelujah) for the first time ever went to a salon and actually trusted someone with my hair. That's like a major accomplishment already because I am the biggest chicken when it comes to major changes and trusting people. At the salon I went and got it colored and highlighted and it's different! Before my hair was like a dark auburn and after I left it was Idk she mixed a couple colors to get the base color and it's kinda a brownish color with loads of platnium highlights. It was such a change like major! I'd upload pics, but I can't find my camera cord :(! It's quite funny because I went in there with like 4-5 different hair color ideas and what I ended up with was almost like....Not sure if any of you watched Ghost Whisperer? The end result of my hair was somewhat like Jennifer Love Hewitt's character Melinda's hair. This is hilarious because I watch that show like crazy and everytime I'm like "OMGOMGOMG" I loooove her hair; she's an absolutely Gorgeous Lady :D! So, the fact that my stylist did my hair fairly like her's is kind of funny to me; I can't believe I didn't think of it myself! Do you have any of those "Why didn't I think of that" days? I definitely do and I have "lOaDs..." of them.
What else is new? Well... since I'm "missing" a year of college I might just take like a course in something I'm not sure what though? I mean I'm not just going to sit and do absolutely nothing. I was thinking maybe a makeup course because I feel like I have so much to learn and it's just so much fun; but I'm not sure yet... maybe. In the meantime I've been looking for acting gigs where I live, but I haven't found any unfortunately. Wow, I can't even stress how much I love acting; I did a play my last year of High School and it was such an amazing experience. I'm so happy I had the opportunity to play a role in it considering I was such a novice and I had never tried out for anything before. I had no idea what to do I'm so thankful for everyone that helped me. The feeling is indescribable I remember getting so nervous when my lines were coming up I'd start to repeat them in my head and double check, and then I'd get on stage and snap I'd just become the character and I'd completely forget I was acting. If I regret anything at all...it is that I didn't do more in High School. I wish I had tried out for more plays and done more activities because it's not only an amazing experience, but you get to meet absolutely wonderful people along the way!
Moving on I'm re-organizing and decorating my room which is fun because I feel like even though it's so full of color it's kind of boring as well! Ooh, and I found this quote by Paris Hilton (insert--Did you know her natural eye color is brown? I never ever knew that. I thought her eyes were really blue) “The only rule is don't be boring and dress cute wherever you go. Life is too short to blend in.” I couldn't agree more; life really is quite short and this year it is time for me to stop letting myself down to please others, time for me to state my own opinions and express myself as I please. So, this year I'm going to take fashion up a notch (hopefully), I'm going to do what I want to do, and I'm going to be fearless. Most importantly I'm going to be myself and be honest because if I've learned anything at all over the years it's that honesty is always the best way to go in everything. I am saying that I am going to try to be more honest than I already am.
Holy Cow this is getting way too long I think I'm going to cut it right here lol I always say this :O and then I start blabbing even more oops? "Sorry :D"... Since I'm talking about change and all I thought I'd share with you a blogger that I've been following for quite some time now. Let me start by saying how sweet and absoulutely beautiful she is; I love her fashion sense; and lately she's been doing a Create A Working Closet series posts. I definitely recommend the series for anybody wanting to re-organize and do like a major renovation clothes thing etc..., and I also Absolutely Positively recommend her blog. I seriously love her outfit posts soooo much... very cute.... I completely forget to mention her name: Kendi! Here's a link to her lovely blog http://kendieveryday.blogspot.com/... Signing off! I hope you all have an Amazing fun-filled Beyoutiful day! OxOx (I know it's xoxo, but.. I like hugs hehe) Big Hugs :)!!!

My Nails of The Week: NOTW or however long....
I did my nails :D they didn't take long except the darn thumb, but after a couple tries I was happy with it! I don't know why I did them all differently? The thumb and middle finger were inspired by a corset! The rest were all silly doodles. The last one looks weird at least I seem to think so...I need new nail polish! Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector Concealer & Highlighter Review
Dark Circles Please Be gone:

PROS:
*Blends Easily
*Long Lasting
*Contains Highlighter
Cons:
* Doesn't completely hide dark circles...not full coverage
*Small Size
*Creases a bit depending on how much used.
Overall Rating: 7
I actually have very dark under eye circles. The concealer did me some good compared to others I've tried. One thing though is that you have to be careful when applying powder; don't over do powder or it will crease. As for the complete coverage, your likely to get better coverage if you apply foundation under the eyes; when doing the face; then the concealer with a concealer brush. I don't really wear foundation much so I need something that can stand tall alone. I also recommend tilting your head in front of mirror and only covering up they eye area where you see the dark circles; which will give you better results. It lasts pretty long and blends well, and somewhat brightens the under eye. The highlighter is really nice as well:; it's not shimmery, yet still gives off a nice glow. If, you know a product that works well for concealing dark circles please do tell!

June 2010 Things I am LoViNg!!!
Each month I will try to share with you all the things that I review or find; everything from makeup, shoes, shows, clothes, food and basically anything that I end up falling in love with!!! I will add more to it till the end of the month. This Month, I’m in love with the following stuff:

I am loving my Zoe flat iron, I love the way it straightens and curls my hair; plus it's ultra cute! Can be found at www.ulta.com
L.A. Colors Red Lipstick in Cranberry Red, it doesn't dry my lips, get into fine lines, it's matte, inexpensive, and i feel like it actually works with my skin not against it. I want to buy every color and get more of this one!!! www.cherryculture.com
Donna Michelle eyeshadow brush...It's a really good brush for all over lid color, crease, and blending!
The show Pretty Little Liars...Shhh... Dont tell anybody ;-), but I'm lOvInG iT!!! The fact that everybody has a secret and nobody is perfect plus the mystery; it's great
Watch it every Tuesday on AbcFamily!
